ALVARADO-Juan Cancio Of Ontario, CA, formerly of Buffalo, NY entered into rest August 31, 2007; beloved husband of the late Vidalina Alvarado; devoted father of Milagros (Rafael) Rivera, Erohita (Andres) Suarez, Samuel (Aida) Alvarado, Teonila (Jose) Alegria, Radames Alvarado, Teresa (John) Ponce, Betty (late Francisco) Torres, Maria J. Garcia, and Lucy (Marvin) Torres; cherished grandfather of 27 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren; loving son of the late Pedro Alvarado and Juana Maria Rodriguez; predeceased by eight brothers and sisters; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (City Chapel), 102 Linwood Ave., at Summer on Saturday and Sunday from 4-9 PM and on Monday from Holy Cross Church, Maryland and Seventh St., Buffalo from 9-10 AM where a Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

great grand papa i miss you dearly and love you much. i remember as as child comming up to buffalo for vaction every year, and we would come over and i would go in the back yard (that is after eating some of Grandmama and Great Grandmama's wonderful meals) and lay in your hammick and fall asleep. My blessings are with you and the family. I know God has you, and that means I know you are very well taken care of. Love ya,
