To the Family,
I've known Lynn for many years, beginning with UB and she was truly one of the warmest, most intellectual persons on this earth. Lynn was one of the strongest, god fearing, always reaching for the stars, persons I've ever known.
God Bless You,
Francesca

To the family of Lynn Taylor.
When I first learned of Lynn's passing, I was in shock. To me, she was full of life and a beautiful person. She was a dear friend and I am deeply saddened by her passing. I enjoyed speaking to her during our many classes together at Northeastern Seminary.
May the Lord bless you all and keep you in his tender care. Our sister, Lynn, is with our beloved Father in Heaven. Please know that she will always be missed, but that we will be together again in glory. Lynn's passing has left a hole in my heart that will never be filled. She was truly a beloved daughter of God!

My Personal Resolution for
Dr. Lynn R. Taylor
Whereas, I have suffered a great loss in the home-going of my sister, Dr. Lynn R. Taylor, who was deeply loved. She lived a Christian life and has served her Lord well. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Elim Christian Fellowship Church of Buffalo until her health failed. Sister Taylor supported the church with regular attendance and was active in many ministries including attending Seminary School. Sister Taylor always displayed a cheerful spirit and positive attitude toward life. She also had a great capacity for love! She loved her family, the church and her Pastor. She was also faithful to her family and kind to her friends. Her loyalty, faithfulness, kindness and love shall be remembered as she now goes to take her rest.
Whereas, Sister Lynn R. Taylor departed this life and will no longer be present with us, we shall mourn. But, we shall not mourn as those who have no hope, for we expect to see her again in the other world beyond the horizon.
Therefore, be it resolved, that we shall miss her that I express my love and sympathy to her sorrowing family and I present them with this resolution. I commit this family unto the God of all comfort, who will sustain them in their hour of loss, and I remind them that there is no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. Our Lord has said, “Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Respectfully and Lovingly Submitted,
Belinda Singleton (formally Mathis)

To the Taylor Family:
Beyond sorrow there is a place of comfort, Beyond sadness there is a place of joy.
Words can't express the way I felt upon hearing the lost of a friend. Lynn, your Godly spirit will always be with me. For when I was going through you were there for me. I am glad you knew that I appreciated you. I am glad that when we saw each other that we would embrace each other and tell each other how we felt. I Love You! I will always remember how brave you have been through it all. I admire you. Peace is unto you. You will always share a place in my heart.

To The Family of Dr. Lynn Taylor:
I met Dr. Taylor when she was a member of the Free Spirit Missionary Baptist Church. At the time, my sister was very, very sick. Dr. Taylor came to me one Sunday after worship service and prayed with me and offered words of encourgement. The following Sunday she came and presented me with five pages of scriptures that I should read with my sister. What a loving and caring individual! My sister passed about a month later, but I will always cherish that conversation that Dr. Taylor and I had. May the memories that you hold so dearly sustain you during this most difficult time. May our heavenly Father keep you in perfect peace. And know that, "Because He Lives, We Can Face Tomorrow."

Dearest "Uncle Ray", "Aunt Marie", Raymond & Family,
There are no words to fully express the thoughts of sympathy and sadness that fill our hearts. However, I have learned, cherish the many memories of someone so dear; memories linger and will never fade--always keeping Lynn close.
May God fill your hearts with peace, and wrap His arms around you and your family during this time and always, realizing where your help truly comes from. (Psalm 121)

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
