Dear Chadwick Family,

I was terribly shocked and saddened when I heard of Mr. Chadwick's passing today. I was a student of his at Bryant & Stratton and he was such an inspiration to me during my studies. He was a wonderful man, so full of love for everyone and education. He never let a student down and kept us all laughing with his way of telling a sports story, especially stories about the Buffalo Sabres. I will cherish the lessons he taught me. He will forever remain in our hearts and our minds. My heart goes out to you all. He will be sadly missed.

To Edwards dear family, I am so sad to hear about the passing of Edward and your deep loss. I had the honor of carpooling with Edward to St. Anthony's for 3 years. We shared a lot of laughs and a great friendship. He always bragged about his children and how hard his wife was working while going to school, he was a very proud father and husband. It saddens me to think I will not be able to speak with him again, he always had something interesting to say, and the ability to make others laugh. I know that he touched many peoples live, mine included, and he will be missed very much.
You are in my thoughts and prayers,
Kim Schofield

Dear Kathleen and family,
I was so saddened to hear of Edwards's passing. He was a wonderful teacher and influenced so many lives. I remember wiping away many tears at St. Anthony's when he left. I had the honor of helping to direct and create 5 plays with Edward and there has never been anyone with whom I worked so well. I never wear my Shakespeare tee shirt without thinking of him. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Chadwick was my favorite teacher ever. He made our class one of the most fun classes ever. Homeroom, spelling tests, our random writing assignments, crispy peeps, Shakespeare in Love, Shakeaspeare in the Spring, all of the memories. When he left St. Anthony's to go to Bryant&Stratton we didn't know what we were going to do. No one could ever replace him. I was just thinking about mailing him a letter the other day but never got around to it. He will be missed by soooo many people. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I don't even know how to start this entry. I found Mr. Chadwick last night on the internet at Bryant and Statton's website. I didn't know that he had passed. I was going to call him today to tell him that I stuck to the moral principles he instilled in me, and that I finally was inducted into the USN junior officers program today. I wanted to tell him he was the most influential teacher in my life, but not because he taught me how to read and write, but because he taught me how to love people for who they were. He helped me when my mother died and taught me a lot about myself. I was just a scared little kid in 7th grade when he stood by me and made me feel better. Know that he was a great man who's influence on people will be felt for years to come. Mr. Chadwick, I love you, you helped me through so many things, I only wish I had found you sooner. - John

P.S. I have written something I would like to read at my parish. I won't do so without talking to Mr. Chadwick's family first. Please contact me so I know if it is alright.

As a peer tutor for two years at Bryant & Stratton, I was first introduced to Edward Chadwick by our then Librarian, Ginger Mason. My task was to do an interview with "the new full-time teacher" to post in our monthly newsletter. Though I forget the year, I remember his dream car was a GTO Judge. That was just the first of many tidbits that ran through my mind with the news of his passing- "Did he ever get his car?”

He will always be remembered in my heart as one of the most influential educators in my (and hundreds of other student's) life.
I tutored many of his students and each one expressed how amazing he was and how he inspired the want to learn. He was a great man, educator, and friend. Somehow he was always the professional but still balanced that with a sense of hilarity that could fill the room and seep through the walls to be felt through the entire school even in the earliest and latest hours of the school day.

Thank you Mr. Chadwick, we miss you greatly.

Mr. Chadwick was one of the best teachers that we had. The way he taught you always learned something. And we always remember going to his classes and talking about the news "What's new?". And he will be missed.

My daughter had Mr.Chadwick at Bryant&Stratton. He was a fan of my cheesecake that I made for a school project. I did make him a special cheese cake for him and my daughter delivered to school for him. He was very much liked by my daughter and the stories of him use to make her smile. I hope if you have the recipe that you make it and remember him creating all the smiles he gave my daughter and it can eventually make you smile again. Our deepest sympathy,
The Lasota Family

Mr. Chadwick was such a great person. A wonderful teacher, with a great personality. Always pushing his students to work hard, and do their best, while maintaining a fun, and always entertaining class. I was sure I would do horrible in that class, and I was always amazed that in the end Mr. Chadwick was so impressed with my work. I give my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Chadwick. May his laughter be heard in your hearts.

Although I did not know Mr. Chadwick personally, I knew him vicariously through my daughter Jennifer, who posted a message below. In life there is often that "one great teacher" who influences directions we consider and encourages us to make positive strides. Mr. Chadwick was one of those great teachers for my daughter, and for that our family is extremely grateful. Our condolences to your family.

I just wanted to tell you that you are all in my thoughts and prayers right now. Even though I do not know you personally, Nr. Chadwick taught me for several years, and always talked about his family. Know that he loved you and he is in heaven shining down upon us all right now.
