Helen Huff Obituary

HUFF-Helen Alice Former Lackawanna resident, Mrs. Helen Alice Huff died on Thursday, September 20, 2007 after a long illness. She was 83. Mrs. Huff was born on February 11, 1924 in Lackawanna, NY. She moved to New Jersey in 1953 where she lived for 44 years before moving to Greensboro in 1996. She was an active church and choir member and performed as a soloist throughout her life. She was also a devoted school bus driver for 24 years. Mrs. Huff is survived by her loving husband, Woodrow and four children, Roger of Dayton, NJ, Karen and Sharon, both of Landing, NJ and Linda Huff-Paul of Havertown, PA; an aunt, Cleo Wright; a sister, Stella Hawkins; a brother, Robert Plowden, all of Buffalo, NY and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 25 at WOODARD FUNERAL HOME in Greensboro, NC. Interment will follow immediately at White Oak Grove Cemetery.
