Poem for Grandma O- We love and miss you everday.

I have been here all along to offer you a hand
I have stood behind you when you thought you could no longer stand

I know that you've been wondering where I have been, but I have been here all along.
I am the sweet warm wind that whistles through the trees, I am the blue birds song.

When Grandpa passed, you were sad, I know that you felt hurt,
But at heaven's gate I did await and said, "See Walter, it's more than worms and dirt!"

My body has been laid to rest and I hope that brings you peace.
Any sadness you feel for me, I pray that you now will release.

Please don't think I abandoned you, I really had no choice.
I heard the call of the Lord, my God, and followed the sound of his voice.

God called me away and said to me please try and understand
We really needed an angel like you to watch over all the land.

Don't mourn my passing, now I'm free
To fulfill the destiny the Lord has bestowed upon me.

Where I sleep one day you'll see, there is no hunger, no pain, no lies
You will only see breath-taking sights and hear peaceful lullabies.

But if you must, I pray you please only shed a single tear
I haven't been gone, you just cannot see me, always remember, if you need me I am here.
