I am so sad to hear about this and still can't completely believe this has happened. I know Jim for two years and has conducted class with him. He was a very dedicated person with great sense of humor and his love for his family, particularly his son was very evident to everyone in the class. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

To family and friends of Jim,
I recently attended a class in Chicago that Jim instructed for two days. Even though that was my only interaction with him, it was obvious what a lovable and wonderful man he was. I was very much looking forward to learning more from him in a class he was going to teach in Dec. I will especially miss his great sense of humor. How blessed his family and friends are to have had such a wonderful individual in their lives.

I am extremely distressed by this news. Jim was a phenomenal teacher and coach that truly had his students best interest at heart. His willingness to always help, his sense of humor and intelligence are only a few of the things that made Jim a great person! You will be missed Jim.

Krissy, and family. I would like to say "I'm sorry for your loss" but that will never cover it. You are in our prayers and thoughts, and all of us are here for whatever support you need.

You dad was the only parent of my friends that I've ever spoken to that could coherently arrange Latin sentences. I think that is about the coolest thing ever. He would suggest song titles for our band as well, while always plugging that Krissy be our sax player...someday we'll write "My little Itch"
