I am a member of Jean`s adopted family, as somebody wrote it before. She treated me as her grandson and I called her grandma. I just cant belive I cant call her anymore on my way going home from work. I dont belive, she cant answer my quastions and I cant visit her at Thangsgiving. I dont belive she cant tell me more stories about my granfather who lived in her house so many years and we arent gona go to concerts anymore. I just dont belive... Last Monday I have been in her house. I have seen all the photos, pictures, flowers and many little gifts that she keept evrywhere around in her home. The memories of her life, memories from her loved ones. There were all the known things there that mean her life. It just looked as she left the house for a journey and would come back soon. I am still waiting for a call to tell me that she is back and she is at home again.... I am still looking for her. ... Even this is the way as I found this guestbook: I have typed her name into the Google. ... I miss You, Grandma. I love You. Attila

Ms. Jean will be missed tremendously. She has touched so many lives and left such positive impressions. We will miss her kind heart and her quick wit. I am sorry we couldn't do more for her. Your families (including all those that Ms Jean adopted) will be in our prayers. Please accept our deepest sympathies.

Hayward Family:
Jean was a kind, intelligent, deeply religious woman who I was proud to have known. Though I hadn't seen her lately, I always kept her in my thoughts and prayers. Fellow back pain sufferers and two who loved University Christian Church we had shared many laughs, and tears together. She was a true Angel here on Earth and I will miss her. My Mother Kathryn Dalton thought the world of Jean as did all who met her. When my parents passed, Jean was there to offer her sympathies, now it is my turn. God Bless you Jean.

To a Dear and Beloved Christian, Friend and Prayer Partner who opened her heart and home to all. Thank you for being a "big" part of my life. You will be missed.

Jean's passing leaves an empty space in my life. Since we were freshmen at Fillmore Central High School in 1939-40, her wisdom and character have been an inspiration. Sylvia and I will miss phone conversations with Jean and reports on activities of members of the family she loved so much.
