Helen Kozen

KOZEN-Helen (nee Szewczyk) Of N. Tonawanda. Entered into eternal rest Friday, October 5, 2007 at the age of 88 at the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care surrounded by her family after a length illness. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda. Mrs. Kozen was a long time parishioner of OLC Church and enjoyed watching sports on TV, cooking, knitting and being with family. Wife of the late John C. Kozen, dearest mother of Alice A. (Harold Mattie) of Grand Island and Alfred J. Kozen of N. Tonawanda; dear sister of Lottie Strenk and Jean (John) Czaja both of N. Tonawanda and the late Joseph and Edward Szewczyk; also survived by nieces and nephews. The family will be present to greet relatives and friends Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., N. Tonawanda (692-0271) where prayers will be offered Monday at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church at 9:30 AM. Entombment Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
