To the Sonnenberger family,
I got to know Dorothy through visiting my mother Beatrice Burns, who was across the hall from Dorothy for 2 years. I will echo the feelings of my sister Joan Christopher in saying what a sweet lady Dorothy was, when she was feeling better. She always had a song in her heart and on her lips while she walked the hallways, often stopping my mother and I to offer comforting words if she thought Mom was not having a good day. I know this is a sad time for the family; it's now a little more than 2 weeks since my Mom passed away. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Sonnenberger family - So sorry to hear about your mom and grandma. She was a sweet lady, and I enjoyed seeing her at Schofield (my mom was there too). I especially loved when Dorothy strolled through the halls singing old classics in the days when she felt better. She always had a hug for my 5 yr old son Danny too! Jimmy, that was great that you visited your mom every day at lunch. Take care, and cherish the memories.
