Wes, I was very sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. You know better then most, that I share your grief. I know your Dad is in a much better place and watching over you as he has always done. I would like your family to know, as I’m sure your Dad did, that you are a truly "GOOD" and honorable person and I consider myself lucky to have had the privilege of knowing and calling you my friend and brother. God Bless

Mr. Lubnow,
I heard so much about you through your son, Wes. I know that I never actually met you, but I would like you to know what a fine son you have raised. He's one of my closet friends. Considered family, he is a testament of your character and substance. SO, I guess I really have already met you.
Someday we will formally be introduced, and I look forward to it.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey M. Kuzniarek

I have heard quite a bit about the man you all speak of. I was told of a strict, determind, hard-working man that loved with an iron fist. These are the values that were past down to Wes as I have observed. I hope you rest well Mr.Lubnow.

Thanks for teaching me about football, Elvis, challenging conversations about current events, buying me books so that I found a love for reading, keeping me on my toes, buying me mints and gum before school, on and on...thanks for the things that you did give to me during your life. I'll see you on the other side.
Love you!

I unfortunately never had the pleasure of meeting the man I'd heard so much about over the years; however, his legacy will live on in the incredible son that he raised who truly loved and admired his father. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

GW - Wes and I have spent many a night reminiscing about our childhoods and how great an influence our dads have been on us. You have left an indelible impression and template on what it takes to be a great, caring and selfless Father. I can only hope to one day have my son feel half as proud and honored to have me as his dad as Wes is to call you his Pops. You will be missed more than you could ever realize. Hope to one day see you again, perhaps at the great orchard.

I will remember Wes as a red-blooded great American. Hard working, tough and conservative, with a great sense of humor. Qualities that are increasingly rare these days. He is greatly missed by all who knew him.
