It took me a long time to actually get the courage to write about Nick. I miss him everyday and can't stop thinking about him. He was loved by so many people, like friends and family. The only good thing I can even think of is I got to see him again. To have your whole family telling me they are here for me and care about me, means the world. I love you all and hope I will always be apart of your family. He will always be in my heart for the rest of my life. I loved and cared about Nick and pray to be with him again some day.

At times like this, it's hard to find the words that best convey the many thoughts of sympathy our hearts would like to say. Losing a child is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. He meant the world to you, YOU ALL were a special part of his life. So when you're remembering all the special together times he touched with his smile and charm, maybe it will help you to think of the JOY you brought to his life and how he loved you. To the Russ family,
Words cannot express how shocked I am to hear about the loss of Nick. We've never met but I've known Nick for years because your family lives around the block from me. We both went to school together from when we were kids in elementary school up until Nick graduated a year before me. He was an incredible, fun, loving person. It hurts to know he's gone, but we all now have a guardian angel watching over us. Nick will always be with you in spirit. Nick and his group of friends (the circle) always hung out at my house. He was such a great kid. He would make sure he would come in and say hi to me. He helped my younger son Nick out when he had friend problems and he loved to play video games with him. He will be missed by my son Ben. He was one of his best friends. It was great to hear them laughing all the time. All of our prayers are with you and we will miss him everyday.
