Ignatius J. "Iggy" Lauria

LAURIA-Ignatius J. "Iggy' Of Tonawanda N.Y., entered into rest October 25, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Liptak) Lauria; devoted father of Michael (Christina), Charlene (Thomas) Zoratti, Carole (Bradley) Roberts, Mary (Craig) Jerabeck, Pamela (Joseph) Miller and the late Thomas Lauria; cherished grandfather of 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Thomas and Anna (nee Saluzzo) Lauria; dear brother of Charles (Joanne) Lauria and the late Vincent (Jennie), Samuel, Joseph Lauria and Carrie (Henry) Gentile; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John the Baptist Church, 1085 Englewood Ave., Kenmore, on Saturday morning at 10:45 o'clock (Please assemble at church). Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Mr. Lauria was a member of the Teamsters for 50 years. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice House of Buffalo, 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227 in Mr. Lauria's memory.
