Dear Betty Lou, Marie and Family,
I was stunned to learn of Vince's passing. I had great respect for him as a classmate, a fellow musician and show-ring competitor. His gentle mannerism was a reflection of Ed and Marie's love and family life. You have been truly blessed to share your life with him. May God's comfort envelope you and give you peace in your sorrow.

Dear Betty Lou,
It is always a shock to receive news of a classmate's death. I am so glad now that we have been having class of '61 reunions so we can enjoy seeing everyone. You never do know when it will be the last time. Glen is not retired yet, but hopes to be within a year or so. It is very hard to find replacement veterinarians in our area. You are in our prayers at this difficult time. Sue and Glen Snell

Mrs. Townsend, Lynn & Rob,
I’m so sorry for your loss. I remember going to your house in Middleport and having just as much fun with Mr. & Mrs. Townsend as we did with Lynn and Mike. The love in your family was always evident and strong. May you find comfort in knowing that many people are praying for you.

Rob,Lynn & Family,
Vince was one of the kindest men I have ever met! Although our golf league won't be the same without him, I am thankful that I had the opportunity to get to know him and for the many happy golf memories he has left me with. As we struggle with his sudden loss, I pray that God will continue to comfort you and the many people that knew and loved Vince. My deepest condolences.

Betty - We share in your grief in the loss of your husband. Vince had such a sweet spirit about him. Even though we didn't talk much, he always provided a friendly smile and waved countless times while working outside in your yard. We are going to miss his presence for sure!! You made such a wonderful couple. That was evident. Please know that we are here if you ever need anything!!! We will continue to keep you & your family in our prayers!! GOD BLESS YOU!!

Betty --
What a shock when I read the paper on the Internet. I am so sorry for your loss and my love and prayers are with you. I have such great memories of you and Vince when we all lived in Middleport. Not a working day went by that we didn't see each other. I still can see Vince up on stage in the Rotary play at school!! What good memories we share from the 70's & 80's.

To Betty & family: I was in total shock when I read of Vince's death this morning. I worked with him @ Niagara Risk Mgmt. & thought very much of him. He was what I call a "gentleman". The funny thing is I was just thinking about him last week & was going to give him a call. My thoughts & many prayers are with you all.

Dear Aunt Betty,
I am so sorry and deeply saddened by this. I loved Uncle Vince Dearly!! He was truly the best Uncle anyone could ask for!! I will always remember how much he loved to have his back rubbed, and how he used to make his "thumb diappear" when Michelle and I were kids. He will truly be missed by everyone! Aunt Betty....you, Lynn, Rob, Megan, Kelsey and family, will be in my thoughts and prayers. Even though I am a 1000 miles away, my heart will be with you tomorrow. I love you so very much. Always know that!!

Rob and Lynn, so sorry to hear of your very sudden and painful loss. I didn't personally know Vince, but Rob often spoke of the good times they shared and what a super father in law and grampa he was.
