GREENE-Mother Maude (nee Smith) Beloved matriarch of the Greene Family was called to eternal rest at her home on Sunday, October 28, 2007. She was 91 years young. Mother Maude Greene was born in Greenville, SC on February 20, 1916. In 1941, Mother Greene was united in Holy Matrimony to Allen M. Greene, Sr. Eventually, they moved to Calhoun Falls, SC. Zion and held that position until she entered into eternal rest. She continued to be a stalwart supporter of righteous living and charitable work among family, church members and friends. By the sweat of your brow
you will eat your food
until you return to the ground,
since from it you were taken;
for dust you are
and to dust you will return."

Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

Granny, you will ALWAYS be in our hearts, you were the most loving, compassionate and caring person that I have even known, You always welcomed me with opened arms, no judgment and no questions, just pure unconditional love, for that I am so grateful to have had you in my life. May you rest in peace at the feet of our lord and savior and live in eternal bliss. God Bless the Greene family and may the Lord give you the strength to endure your loss, The Lord heals all wounds! I love you, Joelle, Anthony, Michael, Jordan and John

Brian and Mrs. Conteh...
I am so sorry for your loss.
Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words.
You're in our thoughts and prayers.
