GENGO-Anne B. October 31, 2007, wife of the late Anthony M. Gengo. Anne and Anthony "Stumpy" owned and operated Ralph's Restaurant on Hertel Ave. for 35 years. mother of Sherry (Joseph) Cucinotta and Risa (David) Paonessa; grandmother of Sarah and Samuel Cucinotta; daughter of the late Frank and Rose Sandler; sister of the late Bella Rose, Morris (Ann) Sandler and Ruth (Joseph ) Nevins; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held from AMHERST MEMORIAL CHAPEL, INC., 281 Dodge Rd. Sunday at 12:30 PM. No prior visitations. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make donations to Alzheimer's Assoc. or the charity of the donor's choice.

Dear Sherry, Risa and your families,

I'm so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. I'm really glad I got to see her again when I visited the deli a few years ago on one of my trips home. I know how devoted you both were to her, and I'm sure you'll miss her terribly. Remembering the good times will help, as I learned with my dad's passing last year.
