I had the honor of working with Peg at the Brighton Branch Library in the mid-1980's. I consider her a mentor to this day. She was the personification of honesty and integrity in everything she did. Her devotion to the library and those who used it was truly inspiring. Throughout the rest of my career, at challenging times I could hear her voice in my head. So, thanks, Peg, for being a bright and memorable star in my life.

We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. She truly was a very wonderful and devoted mother. She was caring and a remarkable woman.It was our pleasure knowing her and her family. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.Our sympathy goes out to the entire family.

Could your mother, grand mother , and great grand mother be the same Miss Margaret Hurley, who taught me at PS 29 affectionately called the
Okell Schol on So.Park Ave., Bflo NY. I graduated from PS 29 in 1943.
Please accept Elaine's and my condolence. I knew her as a youngster, as a great person. I am sure was was a great person all her 93 years. I lived in South Buffalo at the time.
