To Joan's family - I am so very sorry for your loss. I've known Miss Joan for my entire life and remember well sitting in her beauty shop reading movie magazines and listening to her alternate between English and Polish (depending on her client), or talking to her dogs. My mom (Lynn Widger) brought all of us kids to her through the years and she was always kind and generous with us. She gave me my first manicure - I felt so glamorous! I will always remember her, her smile, and her shop. From everyone in the Widger Family - Lynn & Bob(my mom & dad), Robin & Becky (my sisters), and Eric (my brother), we share with you our memories of Miss Joan and hope that our affection for her provides comfort to you during this time.
