Dear Rene,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your grandmother. She was a very special and funny lady that I will always remember. If it hadn't been for her I would have not meet such a life long friend - you.
I think she was a remarkable woman who lived a full and extraordinary life. I will never forget how she always looked after us no matter how "old" we got. Like when we went to the Anchor Bar a few yrs ago, she still instructed me to, "keep an eye on Rene and not too late."
Her struggle in the last couple of yrs has been difficult to watch, I can't imagine what you have gone through. However, Ellie still had a great sense of humor. I know she knows how much you love her, today and always. Take solice that she is in a better place.
My heart goes out to you and your family.
Remember I love you.
