My world is a sadder place without you Aunt Ruth. You were always eager to face each new day. Your positive spirit kept you pushing yourself to the very limit until you finally reached the peace you were looking for.
I will miss all the lunches and fun outings but most of all I will miss hearing the Sorrentino Family History. You knew us all and kept us all in your heart.
You were truly my good friend and I will miss talking to you. Whenever I see a beautiful garden I will think of you.

My Aunt Ruth took me to places I would have never gone if it wasn't for her determination to help me experience another part of life than the one I had at home. She was resilient, smart, funny, and loved, loved, loved, flowers. She was loved for her ability to be so familiar about the details of our lives. She knew our histories better than we did! When we talked over the phone so many times..she even knew our weather, 3500 miles from her, on that day! She created the sense of family loyalty I believe in. Aunt Ruth also is my role model for aging graciously and beautifully. She was stylish and lovely in her dress. She loved food and fuzzy navels! She laughed and enjoyed life. I can only hope to aspire to such joy and happiness that she displayed despite years of her own physical pain and marital difficulites. Thank you my dear Aunt. Love, Nancy Bond
