To the Kleis family: I would like to express my condolences on Mrs. Kleis' passing. My son Matthew had her for religion class last year. She was a wonderful and kind woman and was loved by Matthew. He has been praying for her in heaven. I am very sorry for your loss.

Bill and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Carolann's death. PLease accept my deepest sympathy. I know Bill and Amy from growing up with them and met Carolann after she and Bill moved to Homestead Road. I use to live in the neighborhood.

Kleis Family
I was not lucky enough to have met Carolann in person but I did know her through her friends and my prayers and thoughts are with you at this sad time. I know she is watching over all of you and keeping you safe.

I knew Carol for 27 years, since we were neighbors in Cheektowaga. I always kidded her about her being the Energizer Bunny who kept going and going. Although we had lived far away from each other for a very long time, we spoke, wrote, sent pictures and kept a part of each others lives. She was the most courageous woman I know and she fought long and hard to stay on this earth as long as she did. She will truly be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know her.

My heart and sympathy go out to all who have lost Carolann. She touched our lives in many wonderful ways. I was lucky enough to have known Carolann since childhood. I hope all our memories will ease the hurt and pain we all feel. We now have a special angel with God looking out for us.
