To the Henfling family: I just heard today of the passing of Mr. Henfling. I have known him for many years through Dr. Keller's office as well as the past 11 years while working for the cardiac surgeons at Chippenham. I always looked forward to seeing him each week. He was one of the kindest men I knew and I will miss not seeing him. He also took time to stop and say hello each week. I will keep your family in my prayers.

To all the Henflings: I think you already know how much George, and all of you, mean to me. I admired him so much from the first time I met him, through the trip to Appalachia in 1976, and have learned so much from him over the years. The notice you wrote was beautiful. I was touched often by his giving spirit and good humor, and always felt special in his presence. He and Pat seemed made for each other, and Kathy and I were honored when they agreed to be godparents for our first-born son. I am sorry I was not with you all this month, but believe that he will bring us together again soon.
