My fondest memories of Finn have raced through my mind for the last several hours as I heard about his passing just today. I am fortunate to have spoken to him over the summer and to have rekindled an old friendship. Brian taught me the meaning of loyalty, that I have carried throughout my life. His legacy will continue to inspire the many people's lives he touched. My apologies for this late entry, and y deepest sympathies as well to all Brian's family. I am honored to consider myself a friend of his.

Dear Kelly,
Brian has always been an amazing person. I'm sorry I lost touch with him for so long. In doing so I missed out in sharing Brian's most treasured part of his life, marrying you & having your beautiful children. He will live on in them & I hope they will give you strength when you're missing Brian most.
Thank you for sharing your journey with everyone. You were very honest with your feelings & kept it all very real. I cried along with you when bad news came & cheered when you were having a good day. I have the most admiration for you, for Brian, & for your journey. I will remember Brian for the hero he always was to me & so many others. We have all been blessed to have Brian in our lives.
My most sincerest sympathies go to you in the loss of your most loved friend & husband. I will continue to pray for your strength & will always make myself available to help through this. It would make Brian happy to know that when you reached your hand out for help there was always someone there for you. I'm here if you need anything.
A loving friend

Dear Patrick,Kevin,& Katy,
Your Daddy was the kindest, sweetest,smartest, most wonderful man I've ever known. I hope that everyone around you will always have a story to tell you of how special your daddy was to them. You'll always know how special he was to you but you should also know how many peoples lives he made wonderful just by being Brian Finn. Always make your Daddy proud by following in his footsteps. I see him in all of your faces & I know you'll all grow up to be just as wonderful as him. He is a hero in my eyes & I will always have a special place in my heart for him. He truly made this world a better place. He brought so many people together & did so much good in this world before he left. He will continue to spend his time watching over all of you. I believe his kindness brought so many wonderful people into your lives. He made sure that when he could no longer be here there would be many loving arms to hold you & hug you when you need it most. I hope you always remember how much everyone truly loved your Daddy. I will miss him very much but will always feel comforted when I look in your eyes & see your Daddys life carried on in you.

To the entire Finn family-
I had the pleasure of working with Brian at Baker Victory Services and from the day I met him, I knew he was different. He was a great guy and had a cheery disposition. I didn't have much contact with him after he left BVS but his impression here will last forever with those that worked with him. May you find peace in the wonderful things people tell you about thier experiences with him and the lasting impression he made on everyone he knew. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My sincere condolences on the death of Brian. During my days at BVS, I had the pleasure of having Brian in Night Operations as Night Operations Manager. He was a high polished, committed and above all a very fine human being.
His care and concern was always evident. His kindness was unprecedented. When we went out to lunch or breakfast, never did it seem that we entered a restaurant and he did not know at least two people and they always knew him.
Brain was not just someone who worked at Father Baker's, he was someone who emulated in every way that great Padre of the Poor and friend to all. Whether you were a child,a staff member or an administrator; you knew you had a friend in Brian Finn.
He will long be remembered and deeply missed. But those of us who knew him, know that we are better for having had the gift of Brian Finn in our lives.
Brain, may you rest in eternal peace as you enter your full glory in heaven.

To The Finn Family;
My deepest sympathy go out to your famiy.I had the utmost honor of working with Brian at BVS when he was night supervisor and then became my group home supervisor.He was never our boss,he was our friend,he was the one who understood that you needed to pick your child up from the bus stop and would be an hour late,he understood that family always came first to himself and his workers and that quality made him a true Friend.When he left BVS i was very upset because we all loved him so and always will. Brian will forever hold a special place in my heart as a person who truly cared not just by saying it but by showing it. Now he has earned his wings, no more suffering, no more pain, rest in peace dear friend!!
