Oh my gosh, it took me this long to let myself even look at Linda's listing. She was my best friend. I met Linda at Immaculata Academy back in 1970, where we became not only great friends but avid Sabres fans. We stayed close throughout our adult life and shared many adventures, tears and laughter. I have missed being with her over the last year due to relocating to Florida with my family. Losing Linda leaves a tremendous hole in my life and heart, that will never be filled. My heartfelt sympathy to her sweet, dear husband Steve and to her siblings, Kathy, Jay, Tom and Merv. God Bless you all.

To Steve, Jay, Tommy, Merv & Kathy:
Our hearts ache, upon hearing that our dear, sweet, Linda has left us. Though she has gone Home to be with Mom & Dad, we feel honored to have known her. She was playful and kind, courageous and strong. No one else but her could do a Patsy Cline tune justice. We will always remember the many happy years we had together.
Love you all....
Sue (Gluzak) & Harry Wells Jr.

Kathy,
There are countless childhood memories I will always cherish with Linda. The good times and teenage trouble we laughed thru together.
Linda was a special person, always smiling and caring. She will be deeply missed, but is now in the hands of your parents and they are smiling upon all of us.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. I remember her as an incredibly sweet child, before and after diabetes. I was one of her early babysitters, the older cousin. Much later, I was involved in JDF, in big part due to Linda and her mother's (my aunt Dot's)work. God bless you, Linda. You have been in my prayers a long time. The family
will be in my prayers now. Love, Pat (Malley) Boris

To the McDonnell Family and Steve,
I have cleaned for her since 1994. Threw the years we have become real good friends. I'm so glad that I was able to help threw her good times and bad times. I am gonna miss our talks that we had. What ever I had done for her she would always thank me and praise me for what I have done for her. The more she had thanked me the more I would do for her.I will never forget the time I had taken her shopping to buy Steve a ring for his birthday. When we got there, there was know ramp to get in the store. So she did have a plan for me to wheel her up by the pole near the door. She hung on the pole and she was trying to pull herself up the pole but thank the lord the owners were watching us and came out to help us!!! Linda was never a complainer. No matter on how bad she felt and was in pain you would never know it!!! With all the pain and suffering she has gone threw these years that the good lord had made a special place in heaven for her. I really miss her already!!! Bonnie Theal

Dear Jay, and the other McDonnell kids and families,
I am saddened to read in the Inernet edition of the Buffalo News, that you sister has passed away..
Joe and "Dot" were in my highschool gang in South Buffalo about 60 years ago. I knew that Linda had juvenile diabetes for many years.
I E mailed and phoned Jay a couple times last year. He told me Linda had some pretty severe complications of her diabetes. I am so sorry for her and you.
Please give my condolence to her husband. Now she is resting in peace
With solace,
