Dear Laurie, Mark, Sue, Scott, Barb and families,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss, and that I am so far away that I am unable to be there with you. From these many miles away please know that I am thinking of you and that I am wrapping my arms around each of you. My "long distance hug" is strong and warm, as it is a result of the many wonderful memories I have of our life long family friendship. Although I no longer see you everyday as I once did, I think of all of you as family.
I share your sadness with the loss of you mother; however I smile, as I am reminded of the years and years of fond loving memories of our families.
I think of our mothers getting together to go for lunch and of course a cocktail. Of course that is only after my mother was assured that all the cats are accounted for… in the house.
I wonder if Helen and Phyllis (and Chuck and Bill) ever imagined that their friendship would survive them… through their children.
Love,
Patty
