Marta Kennedy Obituary

KENNEDY-Marta Perdomo In West Falls, November 12, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Frank X.B. Kennedy Jr.; dearest mother of Marta K. Hiczewski (Gregory) and grandmother of Marta A. and Shannon F.; devoted daughter of the late Luis M. and Guadalupe R. Perdomo; sister of Luis A. Perdomo (Isa) of Lima, Peru. Born in Havana, Cuba and raised much of her life in the U.S, as her father was Cuban Consul General in U.S. and Canada. She received her Bachelors from the University of Cincinnati and Master of Science in Languages and Education from the University of Chicago. She worked as an educator and head of the Foreign Language Department at S. Dade High School in Homestead, FL for many years. She touched and inspired everyone she knew. Her daughter, son-in-law, granddaughters, brother, family, friends and students will never forget her. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. George Church in West Falls, NY on Friday, November 30 at 9:30 AM. Memorial Donations to The Hospice Foundation, PO Box 590, Buffalo, NY 14240 or to Cradle Beach Camp, 8038 Old Lakeshore Rd., Angola, NY 14006. Arrangements by KENNETH HOWE FUNERAL HOME, E. Aurora, NY.

Dear Marta,
I had hoped to try to make the services on Friday for mom but I have to see a new case. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Mom is smiling down on you all.
