I remember Dorothey from Maryvale Elementary School where we taught together. I also remember her from the Cleve-Hill neighborhood and bowling. She also advised me when I was diagnosed with macular degeneration. May you readily accept God's peace and comfort at this time of grief.

Phil and Mike--
I am another teacher friend from Maryvale who remembers your mom with admiration and great respect. She was truly a grand lady, then, and when I last spoke to her. I am so sorry for your loss--it is a loss for all of us who knew this gentle, strong woman. May the support of friends and family make this difficult time less so for you.

Dorothy will be missed by so many students, family, friends and colleagues! I worked with her on school committees and she was truly a dynamic educator. It was a pleasure to be in her company.

You and Phil are very lucky to have had a mom like Dorothy.
I only met her once several years ago. She was very outgoing & had a real enthusiasim for life. A real fighter who did not dwell on her eyesight problem.
Be very proud of her!
