Jo Anna took great care of my mother at Beechwood. It seemed like she would do anything to make the residents laugh or smile. She just wanted them all to be happy. I'm glad to have gotten to know Jo Anna, and she will be truly missed.

WE CANNOT THINK OF ANY GREATER PAIN THAT A PARENT CAN EXPERIENCE THAN THAT OF HAVING TO BURY A CHILD. IT IS ALSO ONE OF THE HARDEST THINGS FOR A GRANDPARENT AND SIBLING TO HAVE TO DO, ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE AS CLOSE TO THE ONE THEY LOST, SUCH AS YOUR FAMILY WAS. AS TIME GOES ON, THE PAIN LESSENS.HOWEVER, YOU WILL FIND THAT THERE WILL ALWAYS A PLACE IN YOUR HEARTS FOR THOSE GOOD MEMORIES OF YOUR LOVED ONE. JO ANNA WAS ALWAYS A BUBBLY, HAPPY PERSON WHO LOOKED FOR THE GOOD IN EVERYONE SHE MET. WE KNOW SHE IS LOOKING DOWN AT YOU AND SMILING EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY. OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AS YOU BEGIN THE HEALING PROCESS.

I was so shocked when my mom Esther told me that her nurse Jo Anna had passed away when I went to visit her today. Jo Anna was always so full of life and made everyone feel so good with her wit and warm personality. She was one of those special people that brought sunshine to the lives of the residents at Beechwood and their families when they came to visit.
She was an extraordinary nurse. Jo Anna, you'll be remembered fondly and missed greatly.

I can not begin to tell you how shocked I was to hear the news of Jo Anna's passing. I had the pleasure of knowing her from Holy Angels Academy. I do remember her as always smiling and laughing. As I read the entries already posted, I can see she carried that on through adulthood. I wish I would have kept in contact. She was on my mind many times throughout the years. We went through alot our first two years of high school together. I'll never forget the birthday party she had!!!! I want you to know I'll be thinking of all of you during this difficult time. I hope she realized how many people she touched throughout her short life.
