To all of Gene's Family, So sorry to hear of Gene's passing. He had been out recently to visit my parents (Tom & Mary). It was a terrific surprise for them, since dad's stroke. They are sorry they couldn't make it to the service to say goodbye, however. Our thoughts & prayers are with you all. He & Mary were such a lovely couple! God Bless.

Eugene Francis Hayes was a wonderful man, and the twinkle in his eye coupled with his inner strength were a rare combination. He was always a joy to be with.
Speaking for his sister Lillian, I can say that no brother was more revered and, even in her decline, she remembers him vividly and lovingly.
One positive to his death is that he will now be able to be with his father, his mother, and dear brother Norm as well as Aunt Mary.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Diane, David, Kevin and their loved ones.
You'll always be a part of us, Uncle Gene!
