Linda Militello

Dear Lenahan family,
Dr. Ed and Dr. Rose changed the entire course of my life, as many of you know. Without their teamwork I would not have had the honor to share many days with your family.
Dr. Ed was a walking Saint from my point of view as a patient, Registered Nurse, and family friend. I know hundreds of people who felt the same.
God bless all of the family who so steadfastly cared for a sublimely caring man. He cannot be replaced.
With Love, Linda Militello

Dear Mrs. Lenahan,
I occasionally read the notices in the Buffalo News and was saddened to read of Dr. Lenahan's passing. It brought back some wonderful memories of living on Jewett Parkway and babysitting for your family in the 50's. My prayers are with you all.
Fondly, Ann

To the family of Dr. Lenahan,
He was our family doctor for many years. He was my mom, and several other aunts and uncles before me. He was a very kind and gentle man. May you be comforted to know that he had so many people that loved him and thought very highly of him. God bless you at this difficult time in your life.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Lolly, Eddie and Family,
Sincere condolences from the Hafner and Redding Families on the loss of your husband and Dad. Ed was a wonderful physician and neighbor. I can still hear the horn on the Cadillac as he drove down Kam Rd. He's probably playing it "up there" now. May your memories bring you comfort.

Dear Marylou and Mrs.Lenahan,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
Dr.Lenahan was a wonderful man and I had such a wonderful time working for him so many years ago. He combined humor with his caring and extensive knowledge to make one heck of a doctor. They don't make them like Dr.Lenahan anymore. My sympathy to the entire family, Linda Masters (Butler).

Dear Aunt Lolly, Mary Lou, Eddie, Lorry ("Snuffy") , Maureen and Rosie (and families)
I'm so sorry I can't go up and see you all tomorrow - Uncle Eddie was,I think, like Libby but in his way, an angel among us, giving us "the blessing" and making us laugh - but more importantly always noticing when people (like me) needed that tenderness and supplying it with relish.I hope there is some comfort in knowing how much he did for the world, and how much he seemed to love doing it. What a great guy. love, Tish

My
heartfelt condolences to all Lenanhans, Gaddis, Richs, Granums,
Macapanas, Grunthanlers, and Rebecca. I'm sure Uncle Eddy is just now
pulling up in style to the Pearly Gates in his Eldorado, with Libby
riding shotgun as the horn plays "Bridge Over The River Kwai". Among
the many many things I will miss about Uncle Eddie is his ever-present
sense of humor and the way he cheered everyone up. When
I saw him him just a month ago, I was glad I had some new jokes to
tell him, which made him smile like always. Godspeed Uncle Ed , and
peace & god bless to all. Love Andy, & Aunt Mary

Dear Lolly and all the family,

I was so sorry to hear of “Uncle Eddie’s” passing when Molly called. Like others who have written here, my memories of Edwin are of such a giving and loving man! Whether it was his devoted care of Rosemarie, his house call on Morris, or driving down Kam Road with a car load of kids, he was a man who loved and embraced life … and loved his cars too! Treasure all those wonderful memories; they are the best medicine in this time of sadness. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
