Randal Petersen Obituary

PETERSEN-Randal L. Age 53, went home to be with the Lord, suddenly on Thursday November 29, 2007. He was a Psychology Major at NYS College at Syracuse. Randy was employed as a Mental Health Assistant at Buffalo General Hospital for the past 27 years. His artistic endeavors included writing songs and prayers, painting and working with gemstones. Randy attended The Tabernacle in Orchard Park and New Generation Ministries in Buffalo. He enjoyed volunteering at the Healing Room. His love of the Lord made him a compassionate counselor who touched the lives of many. Randy will be remembered with love by his mother and father Jane and Don Rogers, Tavares, FL; sister Kathleen Domanski, Lancaster, brother Fred Petersen III (Diane), Clarence. His extended family includes a sister, Barbara Krellner (Bill), brothers, Don Rogers Jr., Purcellville, VA, Timothy Petersen, Seattle, WA, Jonathan Petersen, Arizona; aunt Carolyn Sigeti (Ray); uncle Leonard Mullen (Nancy) and special friend and confidante Joanne Cody and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Randal was the son of Fred Petersen Jr., deceased. A Memorial Service will be held at The Tabernacle World Prayer Center, 3210 Southwestern Blvd., Orchard Park on Thursday, December 13th at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Healing Room of Buffalo-Niagara, 314 West Ferry St. or New Generation Ministries, 393 West Ferry St,. Buffalo, NY 14213. Arrangements KAZMIERCZAK FUNERAL HOME.

We were so sorry to learn of Randy's passing. Mark has many wonderful memories of growing up with Randy and happy times spent at Grandpa's pond. We're thinking of Randy and will keep his memory close to our hearts.
