Dear Lisa, Manuel, Baby Ava & The Joseph Puma Family,
Although I did not know your Dad that well, he seemed to be a gentle, kind, loving husband and father.
Knowing you Lisa, and the wonderful and caring person that you are, it is not hard to imagine the kind of memories he has left behind and the loving home he helped to create.
It was readily apparent that your Dad was proud of you and dearly loved you.
May God show you His comfort, peace and strength in the days ahead.
Always,
Joan Diana

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Joe was a sweet man and we enjoyed working with him everyday. If he wasn't making us laugh or smile, he was singing to us. He will be deeply missed and Joe will always be in our hearts. Love Amy & Justin

To Aunt Phyllis, Angela and Lisa,
My words cannot express how I felt when I got the news of Uncle Joe's passing. When I saw him at my mom's funeral he smiled and talked with me and looked good. I should have given him one more extra hug. I will pray for him and now know that he is with my mom and dad and all those that loved him. May he rest with our Lord and be at peace.
All of you are in my heart,
Camille

Joe or Uncle Joe, as my girls, Dana and Jodi would call you:
You were the funniest and most wonderful father anyone could ever want. Your jokes (regarding Phyllis) were so funny, but we all knew just how much you really loved her and how much she meant to you. You were the picture perfect person and father. Everyone should have been as good a father as you were.
Dana, Jodi and I will surely miss you; my girls always talk of how you would sit on the couch and read books to them.
Now you are up in heaven with our Heavenly Father (and maybe you will come across my mother).
We love you and your family,
Maryann and Larry and Family
