My thoughts are with Pete's family and friends.
He'll always be a part of the history of Lancaster Speedway (Lancaster Raceway Park) with his 1970 Late Model championship driving his #56.

We will miss Pete dearly . We all will never forget that sly grin of his . Being the late model champion at Lancaster in 1970 the racing world has lost one of its brothers. We were just up to see him at the hospital and gave him a program from Lancaster with him on the cover (thanks John Bisci) which he enjoyed. A great dad who helped his kids in the racing field. He and Donna had just finished there dream home here in NC a stunning log home on 4 beautiful acres. We'll miss ya Pete. If anyone would like a picture of Pete with the #56 Car just email me and Ill send via Email, [email protected] Ron & Vickie Wetzler NC

We send or love and prayers to Donna, Dan(April) Tim(Tara). We were fortunate to have been Pete and Donna's neighbors in NY and again in NC. We are thankful. Peter loved his family, he made that well known. God Bless all of you.
