Elena DeSantis Obituary

DeSANTIS-Elena Of Lackawanna N.Y., entered into rest December 9, 2007. Loving daughter of the late Fausto and Maria (nee DeSantis) DeSantis; beloved sister of Albert (Helen) DeSantis and the late Louise (John) Albano; cherished aunt of Albert (Jean) DeSantis, Maria (Gary) Cone, Anthony (Angela) DeSantis, Joseph (Patricia) DeSantis, David (Sarah) DeSantis, Maria (Daryl) Cheney and Roxanne Rekas; also survived by 13 great-nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave., on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Anthony's Church, 306 Ingham Ave., Lackawanna at 11 o'clock. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Elena was a member of the Sacred Heart Society.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know Aunt Helen was a special person from all that Jean has told me, and I know how much you loved her. Remembering all the good times you had with her will help get you through this and keep her memory alive forever.
