I didn't know Travis however I'm sitting on his bench dedicated to him in Trimble Park in Vancouver - a beautiful peaceful spot. The inscription of Travis as a "wild man and loyal friend" intrigued me - it sounds like he had a wonderful life and is remembered fondly. I'd love to know more about what he was like!

Dear Shaw family,
My prayers and thoughts are with all of you at this very sad time. I have fond memories of Travis as a young boy, playing with his brother and sister in Trimble park, when Patricia was your Nanny. I will treasure those memories forever.
My deepest sympathy at this time of great loss.

The brimming church was truly an attestation to the number of people Travis touched in his short life. It was a privilege to be part of such an amazing celebration of his life today. May your strong love for each other carry you through this time of deep sorrow.
