Travis Shaw Obituary
SHAW Travis John On November 24, 2008 Travis passed away unexpectedly, at the age of 23. He will be profoundly missed by his loving family; mother Lynn and Gary; father Jack and Pam; sisters Krista and Liana and brother Fraser; grandmother Mary Hamilton and many other relatives and friends. Travis will also be missed by his precious dog Coco. Full of life, full of fun, loyal to his family and friends, protective of everything he loved. Service will be held at the Unitarian Church of Vancouver, located at 949 West 49th Avenue (at Oak), on Monday December 1st at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Last Door Recovery Society, 323 8th Street, New Westminster, B.C. V3M 3R3.

I didn't know Travis however I'm sitting on his bench dedicated to him in Trimble Park in Vancouver - a beautiful peaceful spot. The inscription of Travis as a "wild man and loyal friend" intrigued me - it sounds like he had a wonderful life and is remembered fondly. I'd love to know more about what he was like!

Dear Shaw family,
My prayers and thoughts are with all of you at this very sad time. I have fond memories of Travis as a young boy, playing with his brother and sister in Trimble park, when Patricia was your Nanny. I will treasure those memories forever.
