Terry Lee Skelly
Terry Lee Skelly, 56, of Canton, formerly of Walnut Creek, OH, died Saturday, February 3, 2007. Born August 4, 1950, in Millersburg, to Alice McCoy Skelly. He graduated from Hiland High School in 1968 and joined the military after participating in ROTC, graduating from Kent State University. He served his country in the Army for 18 years. He was most recently employed by Terry's Tire Town in Canton. Survivors include his wife, JoEllen; daughter, Marianne; son, Michael, both of Michigan; sister, Gloria (Keith) Sigler of Strasburg; brother, Barry (Sally) Skelly of Grenada, MS; aunts, Jean (Richard) Hostetler of Walnut Creek, Diana Burgett of Lancaster, OH; uncles, Larry (Pam) McCoy of New Cumberland, Dr. Ted (Karen) McCoy of Ragersville; also, nieces, nephews, cousins, stepdaughter and two step grandchildren. Plans are for a military burial at Arlington National Cemetery. He was loved and admired by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
