Dad,
15 years... I can´t even think of words to explain the pain. I miss you so much. Too much has happened in 15 years. Alyssa is in drama club and will perform in front of 100s of people! Steven is so smart. I see so much of you in him. He paces the room and wipes his face as you did.
Nikki loves college and excels at OU. I know you watch over her closely! Rachel has amazed me with her strength and courage! She did great in college and has a wonderful job at the hospital!
You have your wife back! It broke me losing mom like I did. I am glad the two of you are back as one! She was broken the day she lost you. I can picture the two of you enjoying life and watching over us.
I miss you Dad...I miss you so much.
Love

Dad,
We just celebrated your birthday on Monday. We went to mom's and had dinner together and sang happy birthday to you.I know you were with us. I cannot express how much we miss you. Nothing is the same without you. I look at Maegan and wish she could have met you, but I know she is our gift from you! I can't believe we have to go through another set of holidays without you. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you. You are one of the most brave, caring, loving, strong people I know. I love you so much and can't wait to see you again.
I love you,
Chrissy

Bob,

I was on the computer and started to go through all the emails you sent me. I've kept them all and this is the first time I've gone back to read them since you were taken from us. They were hard to read but, at the same time, they were comforting. It made me feel like you were right here talking to me.
I miss you so much! There's so much I want to talk to you about. Sometimes I just look at your picture and talk to you. And sometimes I feel like you're right here looking out for me. I just wish you were at home so I could come and visit. I'd bring you a banana malt and we could sit and talk like we use to.
I know we'll all be together again someday. I love and miss both you and Mom very much. Can't wait to see you again.

Hugs and Kisses to you both!

Love you!
Little Sis

Dad,

I was just thinking of you tonight, so I thought I would write you. I miss you. Sometimes I find myself remembering memories. One I think of the most is going to Lake-O-Springs with you. I remember how you always had me carry that HEAVY battery. I am telling you what, for an 8yr old those batteries were really heavy. I also remember how mad you used to get when I would have to go to the bathroom while we were on the boat. One time you even dropped me off at shore and when I was going to the bathroom you went back out fishing and left me sitting on shore for about an hour waiting for you to come back. Thats ok though, because it is those kind of memories that make me laugh. I know that we had our good times and our bad times, but I always knew that you loved me. I always did and always will love you to.

Love always
Jeff

BOB,
I AM SORRY THIS IS A DAY LATE, I TRYED TO PUT THIS IN YESTERDAY BUT EVERYTIME I STARTED I HAD TO STOP IT JUST HURT TO MUCH.
BOB I MISS YOU SO MUCH AND IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE THAT IT HAS BEEN A WHOLE YEAR. I STILL DON'T KNOW WHY GOD HAS TAKEN YOU AND MOM FROM US SO EARILY. BUT I THANK HIM FOR GIVING YOU TO US TO LOVE. THE MEMORIES I HAVE WILL STAY WITH ME FOREVER. ALL THE FAMILY GATHERINGS, THE TALKS, HOW GOOD LOOKING I THOUGHT YOU WERE WHEN YOU WOULD GET ALL DRESSED UP TO GO OUT WITH MAUREEN. HOW I USE TO LAUGH BECAUSE YOU WERE AFRAID OF SCRUFFY AND YOU WOULDN'T LEAVE THE ROCKING CHAIR. YOU WERE SO ORGANIZED AND
VERY PARTICULAR. YOU ARE MY OLDEST BROTHER AND I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU. WE WILL MAKE SURE THAT THE REUIONS WILL GO ON IN YOUR HONOR. THANKS BOB FOR FIGHTING THE CANCER AS HARD AS YOU DID I GUESS IT IS THE TRUTH WHEN PEOPLE SAY GOD ONLY TAKES THE VERY BEST.GIVE MOM A HUG AND A KISS FOR ME I LOVE YOU BOTH AND MISS YOU BOTH LOTS.
YOUR SISTER

January 24, 2009

Hey Bro,

It is hard to beleve it's been a year since you left us. It seems I was just talking to you last week. {Maybe I was} Every time I pass Tappan Lake I have to look twice because I swear I've seen you out there standing in your boat with the rod bent trying to reel in that trophy bass. So many times I think of the memories we had, some good and some not so good. Like the time when I got hit in the head and Grandpa rush me to the hospital while you held the towel against my head. I also remember the golfing and golf outing we did together. And the time we went fishing at Myers Lake when I caught that 3 1/2 lb. bass and the fishing trips with Dad, Grandpa, Uncle Fred and Dave. And the time we had when I drove you to the doctors and to your treatments. But the fondest memory was when you stood beside me when I became a "Knight of Columbus". I miss not seeing you and hearing that one of a kind laugh you have. The one memory I do regret not having is going fishing with you in your pride and joy boat. But maybe someday we can make that happen. Say hi to Mom for me and can't wait to see you again.

Love ya, Little Bro.

To the whole family, I would like to share my deepest sympathy. I am so sorry that you must go on without him. My family prays for yours, that you will find peace and comfort knowing that you will be together again. May your hearts and minds be filled with wonderful memories of Bob.
Maureen, I love you so much, my heart aches for you. I wish I had the perfect words to help take away the pain. When these next few days pass, and the dust settles, and you find you are trying to get back to a normal life without him, do not despair and do not feel alone. Remember that you are never alone! You have a Heavenly Father that loves and cares for you very much, He is always with you, and He wants to bless you with that which you need. You also have many friends and family ready and willing to do all that they (we) can for you. Finally, remember that even though Bob may not be where you can see him, it does not mean he isn’t there.
Your friend,
~Emily
