Dear Little Miss Kira, Little Miss Rissa, Master Thomas, Miss Annette and Reid, All of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of great sadness and sorrow! I would love to share a poem with you:
Don't mourn for me my gentle friend; our ties have not been broken. Don't weep for me; don't rue my end, leave bitter words unspoken. I see, I feel, I hear you, though earthly flight be stilled...And on some bright and blessed day, we'll meet on yondered hill (rgh 9/2/99) MAY SHE BE FLYING WITH THE ANGELS AS SHE'S LOOKING DOWN ON HER 3 BLESSED ANGELS!

SPC Stanley, I was so saddened to hear of Ellicia's death as I know the void she left in your hearts will be deeply felt. From all I have heard and read she was an exceptional lady, but you Spc Stanley...you were her cheerleader and she was blessed to have such a great guy to stand by her side through the good times and the tough times. Thank you for your service to your country and thank you for being the guy you were to your wife and the great example you will continue to be to your chldren. You were blessed to have found each other.

I am so sorry for your loss. I never had the opportunity to meet your lovely wife, but I understand she had great strength and determination. May that reflection of her heart and spirit always be with you and your children. You have the thoughts and prayers from fellow 412th ASB families all around you. Ellicia made quite an impact.
With much sympathy, Scott and Amy Luekenga

Reid,
We should all be so lucky to have someone who will never let us go.
There was never a time that we weren't smiling around Ellicia. We remember how her eyes would light up every time she laughed.
Because of her courage and strength we will miss her all the more.

Reid, I only wish we could have done more to keep your angel around longer. My heart is broken when I think of those babies. You know you will always be in our hearts. You and the kids have become an extention of our family and we will always be here for you all. We will keep her memory alive in our hearts and never let her children go on one day not knowing what a remarkable mother they had..She was the strongest woman I know...They will never forget that..I promise. Love Always

Reid,
I can't find the words to express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. Leesha was so feisty and full of laughter. I loved playing with her hair...we had so much fun coloring it...fixing it. I'll never forget how excited she was about me straightening it the day you were married. I will always miss her and love her. You're in my prayers...always.

Reid, as a co-worker of Ellicia's we sat and talked alot.(in between work of course) I remember they day after she got Kira's and Rissa's pictures taken at Wal*Mart. The ones with the out door background and a tire swing. Well she went on and on about how this was the BEST picture Kira ever took. As I was sitting here thinking, OK now I want to talk about Taylor, we realized how much our children meant to us. All of the memories I have of Leesh, have to do with converstaions about our kids. She is the one who told me to take Taylor's shoes off when I got her baby pics done, so later in life I could invision eating up those piggies... I will miss her She always called me Chelle.. Reid,
We are SO sorry about Ellicia. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. I know you all miss her so much, but God is so happy to have one of his angels back..... Ellicis was probably the most genuine, funny, witty, sarcastic and kind hearted person I have ever met in the military. And definitely the smartest. Man, she could some right back at you with anything you threw at her. I regret always being so busy and not spending more time with her..... But we will meet again one day. Send love and hugs to the kids. And love and strength to you.....

Leesha will be missed. God be with the family during this time. We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen in eternal, 2 Cor 4:18.
