Donald Chisholm Obituary

Donald D, Chisholm, of Lena, IL, formerly of Chicago, passed away at his home Jan. 30, 2005 at the age of 86. He was born in Chicago on Feb. 8, 1918, son of Alexander Frasier and Ida, nee Timmereck, Chisholm. He married Lenore Jane Berlik May 1, 1943 in Columbus, GA. He worked for James Chisholm & Sons Hardware and then was hired as President of Monogram World Fastners of Des Plaines, IL. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Lena, a Lena Lions Club Member, he was an avid golfer and a Chicago Bears Fan. He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Karen (Gordon) Dammann of Lena, Donna (Don) Clark of Winnetka, IL and Pamala Sammons of Phoenixville, PA; one son, Scott (Dawn) Chisholm of Hoffman Estates, IL; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Roger (Laureine) Chisholm of Trinity, FL and Alex (Ann) Chisholm of Brooksville, FL. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Lorri and Sandra; one brother in infancy; and one sister, Mildred Heyne. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lena, IL. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is established in his name. Arrangements by Leamon Funeral Home, Lena, IL.
