Aries Luchtenburg, age 77, long time resident of Downers Grove. Preceded in death by his parents Peter and Gertrude Luchtenburg; loving brother of Alfred (Mary), Jacob (Judy), Martha (Lloyd) Bender, Catherine Whitney, Lawrence (Shirley) and Ralph (Joanne); fond uncle to twenty nieces and nephews. In the Typographical Printers Union of Chicago for 50 years. A Korean War Veteran. We will miss his wit and generosity. Visitation Jan. 3, from 10 a.m. until time of service, 12 p.m. at Toon FuneralHome, 4920 Main St., Downers Grove, IL. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22717, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718. For info: 630-968-0408.
