Sidney was a great friend of my husband, Mark, who died in 2008. After his death, although Sidney was also not feeling so well, he continued to call me every week, just to see how I was doing. I am so grateful to him for this. He was a good and generous man. Joan Goodman

Sidney was a best friend to my husband, Mark Goodman, deceased 9/27/08. By that time, Sid moved into a smaller apartment. He was so kind to call me at least once a month after my husband died. He made it plain that if I needed anything, I could call on him. It was a balm that soothed my painful soul at the time. He was also a great friend to Al Simpson, who now lives in Lincolnwood, IL with his wife, Cynthia. Al is about to celebrate his 100th birthday.

Sid was a lifelong (over 50 years) friend of my husband, Mark Goodman. He was dear to us. When my husband died recently, he called me every week to see how I was doing. He gave me advice on real estate, my furnace, and insurance matters. I will surely miss him for he was a gem of a man. We used to go with him on Fri. nights for roast beef dinners. Our Thanksgiving group will miss him. He so frequently talked about his sons and how proud he was of them and the grandchildren. Thank you, Sid, for a life well lived. Joan Goodman
