Zira Singer, nee Wolfson, 71, loving mother of Michael (Candy) and Alan (Nancy); cherished grandma of Joey, Jordyn and Ben; devoted daughter of the late Oscar and Jean Wolfson; dear sister of Larry (Mellie) Wolfson; treasured aunt and friend of many. Chapel service Tuesday, 2:30 p.m. at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. We were so fortunate to have experienced childhood next door to Zira, she was the best. Back then every adult was Mr. or Mrs., but Zira was always Zira. Thank you for everything, you will be missed. The Denenberg's (a few last names have changed along the way).

To my Auntie Z- Thank you so much for being a great aunt! You were always involved in my kids life and ours and always asking what is going on with us. I will miss our personal talks that we had and the advice that you always gave me. I am thinking about you today and always. You will be missed greatly. We love you so much.
