Virginia "Sissy" "GG" Costa. Funeral services for Virginia G. Costa, nee Winiecki, 94, will begin Wednesday, May 4, 2011 with prayers at 10:15 a.m. at Michaels Funeral Home, 800 S. Roselle Rd. (between Irving Pk. and Higgins Rds.), Schaumburg proceeding to Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Schaumburg. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 3 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Born Oct. 3, 1916 in Chicago, she passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 30, 2011. Sissy was the adoring wife of the late Santo; loving mother of Arlene (the late Stanley) Burnagiel and Barbara (the late Richard) Hejza; fond grandmother of Pamela (James) Samp, Steven (Norma) Burnagiel, Cheryl and Kimberly Dhooghe; proud great-grandmother of seven; and beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
