GERALDINE CRAY Obituary

Geraldine M. Cray, 74, of Deer Park formerly of Elmwood Park. Services for Geraldine M., nee Hamelin, Cray will begin with prayers on Friday, May 6, at 9:30 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, processing to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the funeral home. Geraldine was born on January 4, 1937 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Arthur C. Hamelin and Rita (Gorman) Reader and passed away peacefully on Monday May 2nd surrounded by her loving family. Geraldine was a graduate of Providence High School in Chicago. Geraldine is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Bruce A. Cray; loving mother of Kevin (longtime friend, Hannah Czoski) Cray, Karen (Michael) Tursi and Susan (Chester) Zelasko; cherished grandmother of Michael, Nicholas, Kara, Alex and Vincent; fond sister of Kelly (Frank) Crissie, Carol (Late Frank) Ahrens and the late Thomas Hamelin and Mark Reader; sister in law of Sandra Hamelin and Michelle Reader; special aunt of many nieces and nephews; also survived by many other loving family and friends.
