Aunt Cathy and Kay Cousins, I am so very sorry for your loss...for all of our loss. Uncle Ted was such a great, loving man. I wish I could have attended the services. My thoughts and prayers and been with all of you. I hope the loving memories of your husband/father will replace the feelings of loss and sorrow. His spirit is still very much alive and always will be. Love, Cherryl

I worked in Kay's Sweet Shop from 1959 thru 1962, 16 years old thru 20 years old. Probably the best memories of growing up. I'll always remember Christmas time at the store. Ted would spend countless days decorating his store window and piping Christmas music out to the street. He took great pride in that display! Then on Christmas morning, he would open at 9:00 A.M. and I would start at 9:30 A.M. I would man the register and soda fountain while Ted would break out the Christmas cheer (canadian club)in the back booth and entertain his friends (Joe Tomcheney, Sam the barber, Jamiaca Joe, and of course, his brother Ray etc, etc. Those were good memories of a good man. Rest in peace Ted.
