Another year has passed and I can assure you that you are thought of sometimes daily by Big Dan and Darlene. This past year we have lost many people who are now angels along side of you from a flu like pandemic. If you see my brother Peter up there give him a hug for me, and my Mom among others. Till we meet in heaven keep watching over Big Dan and Darlene.

Dear Penkala Family... I have such fond memories of Grandma Irene. She was such a joy to spend time with. She always welcomed me and my family into her home with open arms and open heart. She stayed in touch with me for many years with phone calls, cards and letters. This meant so much to me. I wish the family comfort and peace during this very difficult and sad time. You are in my thoughts & prayers. God bless Grandma Irene.

Although my wife Diane, and myself only met Irene once ( At Dan's wedding ), she was a very sweet person, and one can tell by the way she raised her children, that she was quite a remarkable person. May God keep her now at his side, and live eternally in his grace. We will all miss Irene.
