VASILIKI BALOURIS Obituary
Vasiliki "Bessie" Balouris, nee Vlases, age 81. Beloved wife of the late John; devoted mother of Nicholas (Sylvia), Peter (Nancy) and the late Elizabeth and Fontini; dear grandmother of Paul (Keilly), John (Angelika) and Matthew; fond great-grandmother of Nicholas, Alexander, Casidy and Victor; dear sister of Laki and the late Mary of Amalias, Greece. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bessie's memory to St. Helen's Women's Philoptochos would be appreciated. Visitation Monday 2 to 9 p.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 S, Central Ave., Oak Lawn. (Nick A. Collias, Director). Family and friends will gather Tuesday at S.S. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 11025 S. Roberts Rd., Palos Hills, IL 60465 for 10 a.m. service. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Dear Petey and Nick,
We were so saddened to hear about our Koumbara Bessie's passing. We go back a long way but the love and memories we have of her will stay in our hearts foverever. She was a beautiful woman both inside and out and she raised beautiful children to keep her legacy going.

I did not know your mom, but I know she must have been a fine women and a great mom as she has raised a fine man in you.
