Renee Brodsky, nee Kaplan, May 5, 2011; beloved wife of Merwyn for a wonderful 60 years; devoted and loving mother of Steven (Regina) and Jeffrey (Nancy); committed and fully involved grandmother of Nash, Max, Nathaniel, Gabriel and Samuel; sister of Laurence; and aunt and cousin of many. Active force in many local, non-profit groups and heavily committed to the Sisterhood of Am Echad. Funeral Services, Monday, May 9, 11:30 a.m., at Congregation Am Echad, 160 Westwood, Park Forest, IL 60466. Rabbi Shalom Podwol, officiating. Interment Westlawn Cemetery, Section C, Norridge, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Congregation Am Echad or a charity of your choice. Arrangements by Southtown Jewish Funerals-Ian Dick, Director. Dear Mr. Brodsky, Steven, Jeffrey and family, We are so sorry for the loss of your beloved Renee. Her warmth, wit and wisdom will be greatly missed. Her service today was a beautiful tribute to her as a wife, mother , grandmother and servant to all. Please know we are praying for you. Sincerely, Don, Melissa, Kt, Em, Sarah and Josh Pratt
