Dear Rick and Brandon -

Where can I begin? I was so shocked when you called with the news. I have been consumed with thoughts and memories of Gloria since...

Our friendship has spanned 50 years - since high school days. We have shared each other's highs and lows - weddings, babies, deaths, jobs, illnesses. Because of distance, our communication was mainly through phone conversations - lengthy, extended phone conversations. Gloria always had much to say - especially lately regarding world news and politics. She probably should have run for office; she was so well versed...

And her crafts - Lord how she loved her crafts. I am the receipient of many beautiful pieces, as are my children. These will always remind us of Gloria and her artistic ability and her generosity to others.

And her family - you. Lord how she loved the two of you. It was so apparent every time I spoke with Gloria. She only wanted the best for both of you...

I am so sorry for your loss - and mine. I will miss my dear friend, but know she is in a better place. No more miserable allergies, no more cardiac problems - just everlasting peace.

Wishing you both peace and comfort in your time of sadness...

With deepest sympathy and love,
Dianne
