Gus Chiamopoulos. Vet U.S. Marine Corps. Beloved husband of Cynthia, nee Wanic; devoted son of Nick and the late Angela Chiamopoulos; dear brother of George (Judy) Chiamopoulos and twin sister Anna (Demetre) Bouranakos; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago. Family and friends will meet Thursday morning at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, 7373 N. Caldwell Ave., Niles, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements by JOHN G. ADINAMIS FUNERAL DIRECTOR, LTD. (773)736-3833.

Our condolences to the family. Although we did not know Gus, we are cousins with his twin sister Anna and brother in law Demetre. God rest his soul and we know he will be missed.

Our condolences to the family of Gus Chiamopoulos. It is very difficult to lose a loved one but especially when they are taken too soon.
I remember working with Gus when he was a cook at the Top Notch Restaurant and I waitressed. He had a great sense of humor and we had many laughs together. May he rest in peace.

Uncle Gus,
You were taken away from us way too soon. I know that you have gone to a better place and yiayia will be there to guide you. May your soul rest in peace and may god give us the strength. We love you so much and you will forever be missed.
