I was deeply saddened to hear of Alfie´s passing. Just over a year ago, my mother and I were fortunate to spend time with him after many years apart. Alfie was such a kind, funny, authentic, and caring person. When my father passed away, Alfie stepped in to help us manage our property for nearly 15 years before eventually selling it. He always went above and beyond, handling everything with integrity and care.
He was a true gentleman-so very sweet to my mother, and with me he was always honest, direct, and engaging. We shared countless conversations over the years, covering everything from politics to family, movies, and of course, real estate.
The last time we saw him was at Abacoa Country Club. It was one of those perfect Florida afternoons where nothing seemed like it could go wrong. We ate, talked for hours, laughed, and simply enjoyed each other´s company. That´s how I´ll remember him-smiling, warm, and full of life.
To me, Alfie became more like an uncle. He kept things real, kept me on my toes, and lived with authenticity and truth. He was a good man with a big heart, the kind of person who left you feeling better just by being around him.
As far as I´m concerned, we´re still sitting together at the club-having a sandwich, sharing stories, enjoying the sun, and laughing the way we always did.
I will miss you, my friend. Rest in peace.

I´m so sorry for your loss. He was the consummate sidekick to Burt Reynolds and was fantastic in The Cannonball Run. Praying for his family and friends and keeping them in my thoughts. Rest in peace Alfie.

Alfie was great. I enjoyed him in movie Hooper. I pray for him and his family. Maybe he can get the upper hand on Burt up in Heaven.

Alfie lived a few blocks from me in Altoona. He passed my house on his way to and from elementary school so we walked together many times. After first grade,we were in combined classes together as I was a year older, I was in the upper class and he was in the lower class. I remember his smile and friendliness. He was vote class president for four years of high school, the first time that ever happened.
So sorry he died too soon.
